Bounce & Bella in the Press
We're a small team based in Morecambe and Preston with a straightforward mission: honest ingredients, no grain, no derivatives, nothing to hide. It turns out that's a story worth telling.
The Daily Telegraph - Luxury Pet Food Feature
The Daily Telegraph opened their feature on the rise of premium pet food with Bounce & Bella's Aberdeen Angus beef recipe - using it as the lead example of a new generation of dog food that reads more like a restaurant menu than a pet food label. Co-founder Darren Clunie was quoted explaining why grain and derivatives are the hidden problem in mass-market products:
"It's generally the cheap filler that big businesses use to make profit at the expense of our dogs' health - usually grains of some sort, which they aren't physically equipped to digest."
"The derivatives used in mass-market products are made from any plant or animal. My big tip to any pet owner is to never buy anything that includes derivatives - you can't know what's in there."
The Daily Express - Pet Parenting & Premium Dog Food
The Daily Express covered the divide between traditional dog owners and a new generation of pet parents demanding better ingredients. Bounce & Bella founder Darren Clunie was featured alongside other premium pet food entrepreneurs, making the case that grain and derivatives are the hidden culprits behind most dogs' digestive and skin problems - and that pet parents deserve to know exactly what's in their dog's food.
The Lancaster Guardian - Fastest Growing Online Brand in the Region
The Lancaster Guardian covered the story behind Bounce & Bella - how a dog called Sorrel's itching problem turned into a business built on one rule: if we wouldn't feed it to Sorrel, we won't sell it to you.
